Private Hire / Transport on Demand

UK - USA - France - The Netherlands - Sweden - Canada

Transdev is acknowledged as the European leader in transport on demand (TOD). We have developed services adapted to areas where population density is not enough to justify permanent and regular public transport provision, as well as services offered in partnership with health, education or community transport.

In the UK greentomatocars is London's environmentally friendly passenger car service. Established in 2006 with only 4 cars, it now has 300 operating 24/7 across London and the Home Counties. By using their fleet of hybrid, bio-fuelled and electric vehicles, and double-offsetting unavoidable emissions, greentomatocars does the least damage to the environment while getting passengers from A to B. These environmental benefits come at no extra cost and with outstanding customer service. Additionally, Transdev plc acquired Trident Niven in December 2012, thus adding 100 vehicles to our Transport-on-Demand fleet.

SuperShuttle - A pioneer in shared airport transfers, SuperShuttle was founded over 25 years ago and has since become the world's most renowned airport shuttle brand, transporting over 8 million passengers from door to door each year. SuperShuttle is the USA’s leading shared-ride airport shuttle service, providing transportation to and from 35 airports in the U.S.alone. In 2007, the company became a subsidiary of Transdev.

SuperShuttle offers passengers an alternative solution for getting to the airport:

• Door-to-door shared shuttle service
• A fixed price that is given in advance (no unpleasant surprises on arrival)
• Price per person
• High standards of quality and safety

Proud to be exporting its expertise internationally, SuperShuttle launched SuperShuttle Paris in 2010.

In January 2012 Transdev and Air France agreed a partnership that allows the airline's customers to benefit from SuperShuttle Paris from any address within Paris and its immediate suburbs.

Consequently, in the "airport transfers" section of Air France's website, customers will find the SuperShuttle service available as a shared option (the minivan and the price of the journey are shared between several customers) or as a private shuttle (the entire minivan is reserved).

Transdev is a leading provider of paratransit services in the United States. We transport millions of people with disabilities safely and comfortably every year in more than 25 cities, from San Francisco to Dallas, Baltimore to Orange County (Los Angeles).

The American Disabilities Act of 1990 requires all transit authorities to provide paratransit services for people unable to use regular public transit. Transdev knows that paratransit is much more than just a specialised transport. For our passengers, paratransit means accessibility and independence. Our trained personnel provide quality service with compassion and sensitivity, respecting the dignity of our service users.

Across the US, we’re helping transit authorities meet the simultaneous challenges of increased patronage, a larger aging population, and increasing fuel costs.
