Acquired by Transdev in early 2006, the Blazefield Group has a reputation for providing high quality local bus services. Made up of a number of award winning subsidiary companies covering much of west Yorkshire, north Yorkshire and Lancashire, the Company trades as:

Harrogate & District
The major provider of local bus services in and around Harrogate and Knaresborough, with frequent inter-urban services to Leeds, Pateley Bridge, Ripon and Wetherby. Harrogate & District have won a number of accolades in recent years.

Yorkshire Coastliner
From its operating centre in Malton, north Yorkshire, and with a fleet of 20 modern, high-quality, comfortable vehicles, it runs an intensive, frequent service between Leeds, Tadcaster, York and Malton and the east coast resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey and Whitby.

Keighley & District
The major provider of local services in and around Keighley and the Worth Valley and inter-urban routes connecting to Skipton, Bradford and Leeds. Recent accolades include: BIA runner-up in the Partnership Award in 2005.

Lancashire United
Includes 45 modern, high quality buses, on four main routes serving Blackburn, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley, with links to Bolton, Burnley, Manchester and Preston.

Burnley and Pendle
From the depot in Burnley runs a fleet of 72 modern, high-quality, low floor accessible buses. The Company operates a number of main routes serving the Boroughs of Burnley and Pendle, with frequent links to and from Manchester, Accrington, Clitheroe and Keighley.

The Blazefield Group companies are renowned for their innovation in quality, service and their sophisticated marketing campaigns. Regarded as market leaders, they set the trend for the competition with innovations, such as the introduction of luxury black leather seated twin-deck buses. Such buses were the first example of very high-specification vehicles being used on normal inter-urban bus routes.
