Transdev's consultancy subsidiary is Transamo. Transamo offers transport authorities advice in managing, planning and executing major rapid transit projects including tramway, bus rapid transit, tram-train and metro.
Expertise in Project Design and Implemention
Transamo has extensive experience in all aspects of project design and implementation with specific expertise in:
- Helping our clients to develop integrated solutions that strengthen urban development schemes.
- Delivering attractive mobility solutions that actually change travel practice.
- Managing contracts and working within authorities' budget guidelines.
- Critically reviewing technical, procedural and financial documents proposed by project consultants.
- Supervising the project testing process and assisting the contracting authority during the project delivery and acceptance phases.
- Facilitating productive relationships between the organising authority, consulting firms, contractors, rolling stock and equipment suppliers, and network operators.
Delivering Results for our Partners
As well as working with public authorities on numerous French projects, Transamo has worked internationally in Madrid (responsible for the commissioning phase of tramway lines T2 and T3), Genoa, Turin (as consultant to the contracting authorities for VAL metro system), Melbourne (tramway rolling stock) and Porto (light rail operability study).
Transamo's services are delivered by a technical support unit supplemented by a large pool of experts assigned to a specific project.
